HumeyABOUT HUMEY
Renting
made human.
Humey is a Toronto-based rental service built around a simple idea: finding a home should feel personal, straightforward and human.
Real people,
behind the scenes.
We’re not trying to replace people with technology.
Behind Humey are real local people doing the work: understanding what you need, reviewing options, helping coordinate tours, guiding you through applications and negotiations, and staying involved all the way to the keys.
02 / IT STARTS WITH YOU
We listen first.
Your budget is only one part of the picture.
We want to understand where you want to live, when you need to move, what matters in your day-to-day life, and what will actually make a place feel like home.
From there, we help narrow the market down to options that make sense for you.
03 / RIGHT HERE, WITH YOU
Local matters.
Humey is being built in Toronto, for Toronto renters.
We understand that choosing a home here is also about the neighbourhood, the commute, transit, the building, and the little things around you that shape everyday life.
04 / A LITTLE LESS FRICTION
Technology should make renting easier — not less human.
We use AI and technology where they’re useful: making it easier to tell us what you’re looking for, organizing information, matching and presenting options, communicating updates, and keeping the rental process simple to manage.
But technology stays in the background.
It helps our team work faster and gives you a smoother experience. The relationship, judgement and support remain human.
From search
to keys.
We’re building Humey to make the entire rental journey feel connected — from understanding your needs and finding options, to tours, applications, negotiation, paperwork and move-in.
And when you need us after you move, we want to still be around.
